One of our advisers meeting the locals.
Well the last pass it on taster day was not just great but absolutely blinding, with just over 200 children and their families popping in to Jacklands to say hello, we had the air rifle range with Cng marksmanship and ts4d both being very busy all day, we had stickout doing walking stick demonstrations, along with course and fly fishingon the lakes we had ace the Harris hawk.
Along with the usual line up writing had Bristol survival school join us, with fire lighting, natural cordage from stinging nettles, preparing trout and rabbit over the camp fire they had burning all day. They also had a display of furs skins and primatve weapons.
Now catering for all these lovely people takes some organization but the pass it on team pulled together we had Bruce drive over from the isle of wight, even his trusty land rover breaking down didn’t stop him running the archery and catapult stands. With nearly every child catching a fish we think Jacklands need some more trout, good job that they have a few there.
Now that was the last taster day for 2014 but we will be back in 2015 even bigger and better.
